A Note About The Nature of My LJ


My Big Issue Politics:
-- I'm against Eminent domain abuse. Eminent should only be used for roads and absolutely 100% necessary government buildings. It should never be used for urban improvement, to pass ownership from one private owner to another.
-- I'm pro-choice but anti-abortion
-- I want to see gay marriage across the U.S.
-- I'm against affirmative action any tracking people according to race in anyway
-- I'm against all forms of welfare whether for individuals, families, religious institutions, other countries, or corporations: Corporations should fail in the marketplace, others can go to private charities
-- I'd like to see long-standing, otherwise law abiding illegal immigrants made legal. Followed by the building of a huge wall on the Mexican border *and* the enforcement of strong legal and financial penalties against any corporation or individual that hires illegals
-- I'd like to see either a flat income tax or a fair tax (sales-tax only) approach (and one that does NOT exclude corporations from either tax)
-- I'd like to see the abolition of non-profit status when it comes to taxes, especially for religions
-- I'd like to see references to "god" removed from our government
-- I'm 1000% pro-Israel and hope they stay strong and stand firm against the civilization-hating scum that are trying to destroy them
-- I think Che Guevera was a murderous thug and people who wear those t-shirts are morons
-- I believe a strong offense is a good defense
-- I believe the U.S. should stop handing out money to foreign countries in the hope it will buy our love
-- I'd like to see the ineffectual and corrupt U.N. be abolished or at least the U.S. leave it
-- I believe gay people should serve openly in the military
-- I believe that liberal educational institutions should be ENCOURAGING their students to enter the military before our armed forces are taken over by right-wing Christianist fanatics
-- I'd like to see the government stick to the bare minimum required to insure we have a working infrastructure and insure any one individual or entities exercise of their freedoms and rights doesn't interfere with any one else's doing so, their property, or their physical well-being
-- I don't believe we should be doing business with China, Burma, or any other country of murderous fascists
-- I believe we should be using nuclear energy A LOT more
-- I believe marijuana should be fully-legalized
-- I believe we need to reign in the police-state that is being created by law enforcement officers of any kind getting away with all kinds of bad behavior
-- I don't believe that self-regulation works for ANY professional group or industry, whether that is the police, lawyers, doctors, insurance, etc.
